Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites operated by Argead Venture ("Argead", "we", "us") at argeadventure.ai and argeadventure.com, including the interactive corpus interface at /argead_demo_v2 (together, the "Site"). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1 · Who we are
Argead Venture is a pre-revenue deep-tech studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, working on generative design of refractory high-entropy alloys and orbital debris remediation concepts. Contact: orbit@argeadventure.ai.
2 · Informational purposes only
Content on the Site — including alloy compositions, system concepts, performance discussion, and outputs of the corpus interface — is provided for general information only. It does not constitute engineering advice, a product specification, an offer of goods or services, a solicitation of investment, or a representation that any described capability exists in validated form.
3 · The corpus interface
The interactive interface at /argead_demo_v2 generates responses using automated retrieval over a curated literature corpus and third-party large language models. Outputs are machine-generated, may be incomplete or incorrect notwithstanding evidence-basis tagging, and are provided "as is". You are responsible for independently verifying anything you rely on. You agree not to submit confidential, personal, export-controlled, or classified information through the interface.
4 · Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Site or interface in violation of applicable law, including export control and sanctions law; (b) probe, overload, scrape at scale, or attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or authentication; (c) use automated means to extract the corpus or generate bulk queries; (d) attempt to induce the interface to produce content that violates these Terms; or (e) misrepresent Site content or interface outputs as validated experimental results or as statements endorsed by Argead's partners or customers.
5 · Access and availability
Parts of the Site may require authentication. We may grant, refuse, limit, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion, and may modify or discontinue the Site or any feature at any time without notice. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
6 · Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, design, graphics, animations, the Argead name and marks, and the structure and selection of the corpus — are owned by Argead or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and reference Site content with attribution for non-commercial purposes. No other license is granted. Third-party materials referenced in the corpus remain the property of their respective rights holders.
7 · Third-party services
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure and the corpus interface uses xAI's language model API to synthesize responses. Links to third-party sites or services are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
8 · Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT AND OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
9 · Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARGEAD AND ITS FOUNDERS, COLLABORATORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted.
10 · Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Argead harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
11 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site.
12 · Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
